Ruth Warner
A Gallup-trained ex HR Director, Ruth has over 25 years of varied experience, building high performance cultures. She specialises in Employee Relations, Employee Engagement and Leadership Development.
Her partnership with the Lean function was unique in GKN and delivered productivity and engagement increases across every division.
Ruth was a core team member in the launch of the “Engage for Success” movement. This was backed by the UK Government and led by business volunteers.
In her role as HR Director-Employee Engagement for GKN plc, Ruth developed the proposition for an engagement strategy and deployed a new approach to driving a global cultural change across 175 locations in 4 divisions, touching more than 50,000 employees.
With a background in employee relations at plant and European level, Ruth has achieved considerable success, building positive relations and working collaboratively to deliver change up to and including European Works Council level.
She has demonstrated an empathy for the challenges facing the broadest spectrum of employees from the most junior in local plants all the way through to global senior executives.
